Join Ellis' Army

Family and friends, We are honored and beyond grateful that you want to help support Ellis, our favorite cat-loving, 4-year-old, on his journey to kick cancer’s butt. Ellis was recently admitted to the hospital after over a week of fighting what we thought was pneumonia and croup. After many tests, consultations, and a burst appendix, however, we were ultimately given the news that Ellis has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). There is a long journey ahead for Ellis and his family (Jenny, Eric and Jay) while he battles to overcome this disease, but even just a few weeks into his diagnosis, we’ve been nothing short of amazed and touched by how many people have reached out to help or contribute in any way. Due to the aggressive nature of this disease and the treatment plan, it will require both Jenny and Eric to take leave from work (differing times), to be in the hospital 24/7 for several days and weeks at a time (beginning with the first in-patient 4-week treatment), and to make many other life changes and commitments for the time being as they work through this new normal. Therefore, any contribution, whether it’s for treatment, grocery delivery, meal delivery, or childcare, is so warmly welcomed. The Lentz/Schlinger family sends all of their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support.
