Hi! I’ve been asked to make this by so many people. My daughter was riding on the back of a motorcycle cycle and was ran over. She was airlifted to UK while multiple life threatening injuries. Her right leg was amputated, multiple fractures, crushed pelvis, collapsed lungs, blood clots in both lung, ruptured diaphragm, broken ribs, right arm internal damage, “de-gloved” left foot, face fractures, deep lacerations on back, face and other places. She is covered in road rash over most of her body. She has had multiple surgeries (almost daily) and will need several several more along with plastic surgery and skin grafts. They are estimating her medical bills to reach or exceed 1 million. She has 2 living children . 1 boy and 1 girl and 4 year old son in Heaven (who was tragically killed less than 2 years ago) . My daughter and family have been through so much pain and heartache. My daughter has a long road ahead of her along with her children and the rest of the family. We are staying at UK and renting a hotel down the road from the hospital so her daddy and I can take turns with her daughter and staying with Faith in ICU. We will have to make our house accessible for her before she gets out , the equipment she will need raised toilets, new shower that she can walk in as her being able to climb over and get down will be impossible, wheelchairs, rails and ramps. This is what we’ve been told so far. This is all new for all of us. She (we) are grateful for any and all help, thoughts and prayers.
