Update from the Humane Society of Louisiana: Care to help sweet Genesis? The owner of this sweet little pit bull terrier surrendered him to a rescue group in this terrible condition. He is likely suffering from advanced heartworm disease and/or other life-threatening ailments. We agreed to raise funds to treat him and plan to pursue charges against the previous owner. We aim to save Genesis's life and teach the owner a lesson. Our state laws require veterinary care for all pets and farm animals.
