Join George Stout's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Aimee Stout Benitez. I am raising funds for my dad's cancer medication copay. My father, George Stout, was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer - almost by accident - while he was being treated for Pancreatitis. If you know my dad, you know he was healthy and fit for the vast majority of his life. He is now struggling to cope with multiple issues related to the Pancreatitis while treating for the cancer.

My parents are not the type to ask for help - they are usually the givers. My dad would give the shirt off his back if you needed it, even now. They will probably have a fit when they find out that I did this because they are old school self-sufficient , but; I am hoping they understand that sometimes it takes a village.

The medication prescribed for Dad's cancer is $3100 per month. They have an $8000 cap, which is helpful. This $3100 is over and above what they already pay for their prescription and Medigap plans. They are able to manage the transportation and so on, but I am hoping to give them some peace of mind with the copays, and some financial breathing room for caregiver costs.
