Join Grace’s Fight Against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Grace Carroll is an active, beautiful, intelligent, greatly caring 15-year-old. On June 28, a diagnosis that no family should ever receive, was shared and blindsided Grace and her family. Grace was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma.

She is fighting her battle against cancer alongside her family: parents Nikki and Kent Carroll, and her five siblings, Evalyn ‘Evie’ (14), Jacob (10), Nora (8), Lucy (5), and Willow (3). She has begun her treatments at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and will have 12 biweekly treatments of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Grace is a sophomore at North Clarion High School. She was awarded Most Outstanding Field Athlete for all of North Clarion’s Girls Track and Field team in the 2024 season. She medaled at the District IX Championships for long jump and high jump. She, along with her relay team, broke a 30-year standing school record for the 4 x 100 relay this past Spring. She is an exceptional athlete!

Grace is exceptionally tough and has the most positive outlook on every situation and is determined to beat cancer. Grace is ‘vibing’ her way through this diagnosis and will continue to go to school as her treatments allow. Her team of doctors is very optimistic!

Grace has a HUGE supportive family and many friends to help her through this treatment to get well. A family hosted benefit dinner is scheduled for October 5, 2024, at the Fryburg Sportsman’s Club Farm (more info to come!).

Grace is the granddaughter of Jake and Kate Gatesman, Brian and Jackie Schmader, and Bob Carroll. She has many aunts, uncles, and cousins who are cheering her on.
