Actions speak louder than words! - Sri Lanka

The dawn of April 21st, 2019 proved to be a dark day in the history of  millions of Sri Lankans and global citizens alike. Multiple coordinated explosions took place, killing hundreds of people and injuring  many more. Most of these attacks were targeted at peaceful people praying at major churches, in lieu of Easter Sunday.  The rest of the explosions took place in various luxury hotels killing innocent lives.  The source (s) of this attack have not been yet determined yet.  These thousands of people who have been dead/ injured / traumatized are none other than people like you and me, who woke up with hope and faith for a new day, who went to pray for the common well being. They all need our support in these tremendously challenging times.  

How the Funds will be utilized:

All the funds raised, except for the processing fees and other fees charged by Go Fund me and the banks would be directly used to support those who have been  affected by these barbaric acts. The money will be used to provide medical support, and any other general support required for the victims and their families. 

We are working with multiple NGOs and Rotaract clubs on ground In Sri Lanka to utilize all collected funds. The money will be sent through bank transfer, once we have sufficient funds and the exact service group's names will be published. Also, the funds would be used for medical assistance and for basic needs of the victims.  As these materialize we would post updates on exactly how the money was used. 

Our target is $50,000.00 , and we are willing to work around the clock to make this a possibility.
