Join Hands for the Ramirez Family's Needs

Hello fellow community!

I am writing this message on behalf of the Ramirez family. They are going through a situation that can be improved with some financial support. Dad has suffered many health challenges as of last year starting with a partial foot amputation. As of late, his health has brought up more challenges and mom is doing her best; trying to manage the role of many without enough financial support. The small number of jobs that she has are hard to secure and complete as her days are inundated with the responsibilities of caring for her husband by taking him to appointments and supporting his needs at home. She also supports the family by making sure her kids are doing well in school and supported. Her son, in my class, is a fabulous student who loves Godzilla! He LOVES playing soccer and is perfecting his super kicks during recess, lunch, and afterschool. There are so many opportunities waiting for him in the world once he gets past these hurdles. Unfortunately, Dad’s heart and vision are starting to have problems; which have prompted future financial burdens as well as health uncertainty. They have lost access to disability payments, and there is limited time and minimal resources for mom as she tries to stay involved in her children's' lives; while trying not to worry them about finances. Lately, they have also had an extremely difficult time paying their rent- as you can imagine, a burden that would keep you up at night. I’m sure that many of us are going through difficult times, but a small contribution by many people can become a huge support and show of community. Any financial support you are able to contribute during this family’s hard time would be greatly appreciated.

Escribo este mensaje en nombre de la familia Ramírez. Están pasando por una situación que puede ser atendida con apoyo económico. Papá ha sufrido muchos problemas de salud desde el año pasado, primero perdiendo parte de su pie. Últimamente, su salud ha presentado más desafíos y mamá está haciendo todo lo posible para lidiar con la situación de muchos sin suficiente apoyo económico. Los pocos trabajos que puede conseguir le resultan difíciles de completar, ya que sus días están inundados de cuidar a su esposo, llevándolo a sus citas y ayudándolo con sus necesidades en casa. También apoya a la familia asegurándose de que sus hijos tengan un buen desempeño escolar y reciban apoyo. Su hijo, en mi clase, ¡es un estudiante fabuloso que adora a Godzilla! Disfruta jugando al fútbol y perfeccionando sus patadas durante el recreo, el almuerzo y después de la escuela. Hay muchísimas oportunidades para él en el mundo una vez que supere estos obstáculos. Desafortunadamente, el corazón y la vista de papá están empezando a tener problemas, lo que le ha generado futuras cargas financieras, así como incertidumbre en su salud. Han perdido el acceso a las prestaciones por discapacidad y la madre tiene poco tiempo y recursos, ya que intenta mantenerse involucrada en la vida de sus hijos y no preocuparlos por las finanzas. Últimamente, también han tenido dificultades para pagar el alquiler; como pueden imaginar, es una carga que puede quitarles el sueño. Estoy seguro de que muchos estamos pasando por momentos difíciles; pero una pequeña contribución de muchas personas puede convertirse en un gran apoyo y una muestra de comunidad. Cualquier apoyo financiero que puedan aportar durante estos momentos difíciles para esta familia será muy apreciado.
