Join in Celebrating Garrett's Joyful Life

Heaven has gained another angel. Last night in a swimming accident, Garrett went home to be with Jesus. He was 7 years old. We are devastated and broken, feeling the loss and pain of parting. But also, we choose to recognize and celebrate the joy that Garrett is now experiencing, safe in the arms of Jesus. We are grateful for his life that was shared with us. He was such a sweet, friendly little guy, with a brilliant imagination. His love for dinosaurs, funny jokes, and creating board games to play was unmatched. He was counting down the days till our family vacation in the Smokey Mountains next month. Garrett will be keenly missed. And heaven feels a little bit closer. Zechariah 8:5 says, "And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof." I hope he's playing and exploring heaven with his cousin, Kyler, an angel born sleeping. Please pray for our family, especially for Jesse & Sarah, and Garrett's brothers and sisters. Pray for rest, comfort, and wisdom in the planning and many decisions to be made this week.
