Join Jade's Village: Fight Breast Cancer Together

IT TAKES A VILLAGE – Please share

Many of you first met Jade as a dancer with Dancers’ Corner. She gave so much to her dance that I never imagined there would be anything she would be more passionate about in her life until I watched her become a mother. She is one of the most dedicated moms I have ever known. Her love for her two boys, Jakobe (6) and Kaleb (3), truly knows no bounds.

Life has dealt Jade a tough hand and her energy can no longer be fully focused on her boys. She was diagnosed with a treatable but aggressive form of breast cancer at the very young age of 31. Her first surgery is complete, and the next step will be chemotherapy and radiation. If you know Jade, you know she enjoys working and being involved in her community and doesn’t do idol very well. Unfortunately, her treatment will prolong her time away from work and will exhaust her funds. She is also going to have a lot of medical costs.

This is not an easy thing for her to be on the other side of a go fund me as she has always felt comfortable nurturing and supporting her friends in need. For those of us who have watched her try and figure out how she will manage everything, we know that she needs to focus only on getting well and beating this cancer. We are hopeful to alleviate her worry that her boys will not have what they need. We would feel very grateful if her village could come to her need and help with whatever they can comfortably do for her. Even $5 will help and will be very much appreciated. She has been very blessed to receive an outpouring of love, kindness, food and flowers so far and we can not thank everyone enough for helping her travel through this journey.
