Join Jasmine's Sprint Triathlon for Youth Employment

Hello!

I am taking the plunge and signed up for my first sprint triathlon - the Montauk Lighthouse Triathlon - to raise funds for Education For Employment (EFE). EFE is a nonprofit for youth employment that I helped to start up nearly 2 decades ago. The Tri is on July 21, 2024.

Like a lighthouse, EFE is a beacon of hope, offering concrete support in the face of life’s storms.

So many youth who have talent but little opportunity struggle to land their first job or launch a business to support themselves, fueling despair. I know this first-hand - without scholarships and lucky breaks, I would not have been able to embark on my own career.

A job is more than just a job. By earning an income, people can lift themselves out of poverty, feel greater dignity, and transform their futures. EFE has supported over 190,000 youth and women where they have the hardest time finding a job - the Middle East & North Africa. It is now the leading youth employment network there.

Youth in this region need our help more than ever during this time of crisis.

As Zineb, an EFE grad from Morocco, shares in this short video clip, "During my unemployed days, I could never have imagined feeling so optimistic about my future. EFE has been my second chance in life."

EFE helps youth like Zineb journey from unemployed to employed for only $US 1,000 - $US1,500 (depending on program length and country).
