My name is Russell Laughlin. My mother’s colonoscopy came back with some news that nobody wants to hear. Unfortunately, none of us in this family have what it takes to fight this fight ahead of us alone.

Anyone who has ever met Jayne Deaver already knows how great of a little old lady she is. She goes above and beyond with everything she does, and with how stubborn she is, she is not one to give up.

Jayne has been working at a small grocery store in their “shopping to go” section, and she is very influential to many, many people. Whenever I am in town I do not have to look very hard for someone to say something positive about my mother. Whether it’s the performance shop where she gets her automotive needs to the feed store, someone working there has an awesome story of Jayne they tell everyone. The positivity is going to be the only thing that is going to make any of this bearable. The medical field is a terrifying place, especially for the average Joe. This gofundme is going to hopefully provide some relief, positivity, and reinforce my family’s support and love for this woman.

I believe that God would not give anyone something they were not strong enough to handle, and together, we can beat cancer. I appreciate it, and if money isn’t an option…a hug and a smile could do.
