Join Jenna's Fight Against Paralysis

To our dear friends and family:

On June 15th, while celebrating father's day, my sister Jenna Hughes took a dive into our parents pool, hit her head, and broke her neck, leaving her instantly paralyzed. After finding Jenna under water, we were able to pull her out and resuscitate her with about 2-3 minutes of CPR. She fractured C5 and C6 (C4 was bulging) and has an incomplete spinal cord injury which has left her a quadriplegic. On June 16th, she underwent surgery at 4am and finished with a successful surgery at 10am. Although she is still suffering from paralysis, she has gained her sensation back and can feel our touch on almost every part of her body and has the ability to slightly lift her arms. Her cognition is unaffected and she is fighting like hell.

As most of you know, her son Jackson also has special medical needs that he depends on her for. While Jenna does her best to remain focused on healing her body, we ask for your support as we come together as a family to provide indefinite care and financial support for Jenna and Jackson in any and every way possible. Funds raised will go towards her regular bills, new medical bills, rehabilitation, any adaptive equipment and home modifications she nay need, etc. Most importantly, we ask for your love and support, your positive thoughts, your prayers, and well wishes.
