Join Josh’s Fighting Journey

Joshua Hufford was rushed to Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA on Friday, December 27th where he was diagnosed with an aggressive necrotizing pneumonia and the flu. He remains in the ICU fighting for his life.

Necrotizing pneumonia is a very rare complication of pneumonia which causes the lung tissue to liquify and die.

Josh, an 8th grade student at Wyoming Seminary, has a unique sense of humor and brings light and happiness to those around him. We are all eager for him to share his sunny smile and goofy antics with us again.

Josh’s parents are Matthew Hufford and Rachael Wydra, and his brothers are Matt and Ben. Josh’s grandparents are Patricia Hufford and Paul and Maryann Wydra.

In addition to Josh’s medical expenses, funds raised will be used to allow Josh’s mother to stay by his side for the duration of his fight.
