My name is Victoria Bradfield and I'm reaching out to share the journey of my precious daughter, Juniper. She was born very healthy in every way, and for her first nine months, she thrived. She met all her milestones in the beginning. Juniper was a vibrant baby, sitting up by six months, naming her toys, saying her first words, pointing to her body parts, rolling over, and laughing; she was full of energy.

As time passed we noticed that Juniper began to plateau with her development. She began to slowly develop in some places, but then she started to regress in others.

To support her the past year, we sought vision therapy, extensive labs, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, aqua therapy, functional nutrition, functional neurology, and most recently paid $15,000 to journey to Iowa and attend a two-week intensive therapy at a Functional Neurology Clinic. With all that being said, we have had steady improvements and we have gotten amazing answers and guidance and now know how to help her to the best of our ability. We found out Juniper has PANS. A treatable immune response due to environmental stressors that causes brain inflammation.

We are feeling so blessed and grateful to have the guiding light from our specialists to ensure what therapies are going to bring Juniper the most results in her development. We are looking to do everything we can as soon as possible. Juniper is in the most crucial stage of development where she has the most potential for healing and brain plasticity. We are aiming to give Juniper intensive therapy, homeopathy, laser therapy, and continuing functional medicine. Each of these therapies are not cheap and also involves travel expenses. Additionally, we are purchasing other therapy tools to continue our healing journey at home, as I am a stay-at-home mom who works with Juniper every day. Unfortunately advanced modern therapy and technology is not covered by medical insurance, but is arguably the most promising solution for children with delays these days with additional medical care.
