On February 23rd Kathleen was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has begun treatment, but her treatment will require a hospital stay of about six months. This means that Kathleen will have to withdraw from the University of Maryland, where she is a second semester freshman studying Public Health Science.
We would like to rally around Kathleen and her family to create a community of support and help ease the financial burden that will be created by the hospital stay, related medical costs, travel and hotel stays for the family, meals, and other expenses so that the family may focus on helping Kathleen.
As a recent graduate of Sherwood High School (class of 2018), Kathleen is a vibrant member of the Sherwood and Olney communities participating in the Rock and Roll Revival, softball, chamber choir, musical theater, and pep, symphonic, and jazz bands.
The Rosendall family appreciates any donation in support of Kathleen and the related costs of her treatment. Please share this page with others who may wish to support Kathleen and her family. We have set an initial fundraising goal of $15,000, however this is an initial estimate and the cost of treatment and related expenses could increase. 100% of the money raised will be given directly to the Rosendall family.
