On December 10, Kat slipped and fell, fracturing her femur, which resulted in the necessary repair of her artificial hip. The extensive surgery took three hours and will require her to be non-weightbearing for 10 weeks. This means she will need to be off from work with limited compensation through short-term disability. She will also compile many unexpected medical bills from surgery and rehab. Although it's difficult for Kat to accept help, she knows she will need it in this season and that God will provide.
