My name is Kurt Hansen, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My dad, Ken Hansen, has recently been diagnosed with Stage III Esophageal Cancer. This news has turned our world upside down, but we are determined to stand strong and support him through this fight.

About My Dad:

My dad is one of the most humble and deserving individuals that you could ever meet. He has always been a pillar of strength and kindness in our family. Always the first to lend a hand, whether helping a friend, family, neighbor or total stranger and does all this quietly, never seeking recognition or praise. His kindness and humility have touched so many lives, and now he needs our help.

The Battle Ahead:

Esophageal cancer is a tough adversary, requiring a rigorous treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. The cost of these treatments is astronomical, and even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are more than we can bear.
