Join Larry’s Fight To Recovery

Dear Family and friends,

Eleven weeks ago, our lives were changed forever. It’s unfathomable to ever think your child or loved one could be shot and have their life hang in the balance. Unfortunately, this happened to Larry this summer. Thankfully, Larry is a fighter. By the grace of God and all the prayers. Larry is overcoming tremendous obstacles. We were told his injury was so severe he may never come off the ventilator. He is breathing on his own now and eating. We were told there was a 99% chance he would be paralyzed from the neck down, however we see movement. Larry needs continued prayers that the movement will be functional.

I am amazed by my son’s grace. In the most difficult time of his life, he is showing a steadfast resilience to get better and remain positive. Everyday is a struggle with pain, yet he forges on and won’t stop. I am so proud of him. Thank you for the cards, text messages, calls, donations and well wishes. Larry has a wonderful team of prayer warriors. Words cannot express how grateful we all are.
