Hi friends and family! I’m Lauren and my wife is Ashley. We are struggling under the weight of my medical bills.

As many of you know, I have had three surgeries in the last year and require (now monthly) shots in my left eye that cost $7,000 per visit. This, plus copays and prescription medication costs, mean that at a minimum I have $600-$700 in medical EVERY MONTH.

In addition, my internahip ended in April, reducing our monthly income by $500. We were keeping up with the costs before that, but have drained out resources over the last few months due to changes in my medical care needs, loss of income, and a very expensive car repair.

So, we are hoping to raise the money to pay for my medical expenses and the cost of the $12,000 retinal surgery that I will require (hopefully some time this to reatore

my vision. While insurance will pay for some of it, my out of pocket maximum for my health insurance is $16,800, so this will be quite an expensive surgery.
