Join Louise in Saving Pebble's Life

Hi. My name is Louise and I love animals. Right now our beloved family cat, is sick and it breaks my heart. My parents are both teachers, and they already work very hard to make ends meet as my mom is in grad school to become a MFT. A few days ago, our kitty, Pebble, started throwing up a lot. He wouldn't eat or drink anything. As the naughty little stinker he is, we suspected that he might have eaten something that he shouldn't have. We took him to the vet and they gave him IV and nausea pills, costing about $250. When we took him back in the following day they ran tests and gave him more nutrients, totaling at least $1,000. He will end up needing surgery costing anywhere from $7,000 to 10,000. Me and my brother have been crying ever since my parents tried to bring up that we may not be able to get the necessary surgery and we all can't imagine living in a world without him. He's quite young, only 4 years old, and such a sweetheart. He loves snuggling with his sister Rhubarb and chasing toys around the house. Every night he sleeps on my bed with me, warming my feet from the end of the bed. He is such a little lover and snuggler. He lets us hold him in our arms like a little baby, and he greets us at the door; like a dog. We cannot express how much Pebble means to us, and how much we want our baby back. Anything helps, we will take all we can get, because as I'm sure many of you know, medical care is expensive. Me and my brother have already put all of our savings towards his surgery and plan to hold bake sales to try and pay for it as much as we can, but it isn’t enough.
