Hi, my name is Jasmine Molina, I am fundraising for Luna, who was rescued on April 11th of 2024 by my son Elijah who is 11 years old. Elijah was walking home from school when he noticed Luna crying and barking in the rain. Luna was tied up near a fence of the “owners” home where Elijah took action and knocked on the door to see if Luna was their dog. The “owner” never answered the door. So he decided to bring her home to see maybe we can find the “owner” when she arrived, I’ve notice her eyes were infected. So we end up taking her to the vet to see if she was microchipped and she was, but no contact information was found. I posted her on Nextdoor neighborhood app, and someone said she encountered the same situation where neighbors told her that the owner leaves Luna outside all day, everyday, tied up too a fence, no matter the weather crying and barking. She also said she was limping when she first seen her on march 14th. We took her to the vet, vet mentioned Luna’s anal glands, ears and eyes were all infected, her eyes will need medication for life and she has a cataract in her left eye. They also mentioned she have hip dysplasia by the way she walks, so she needs surgery done on her hips because sometimes she wines when you touch her around the hips, as if something is broken. She can’t barely run but tries too, she is one strong brave girl. So I am making a gofundme to help Luna with all the medical attention she needs, especially if she needs surgery to live a longer healthier life. We all deserve a 2nd chance in life to be happy inside and out. She is such a great friendly doggy. Thank you all for the love and support
