Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I share the news of the passing of my beloved brother, Marcos Lugo. On January 1st, 2025, Marcos was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Despite his unwavering strength and determination, he bravely transitioned and gained his wings on March 5th, 2025.

Marcos, a cherished member of our Albany, NY community, was more than just a talented barber—he was a friend, a confidant, and a source of joy to everyone who knew him. His barber chair wasn’t just a place for haircuts; it was a space where laughter was shared, bonds were built, and countless lives were touched.

At just 28 years old, Marcos had a vibrant spirit, full of dreams and aspirations. He gave so much of himself to others, always with a kind heart and an open hand. Now, as we grieve the loss of such a beautiful soul, we ask for your support in honoring his legacy.

In addition to the emotional toll, there are significant expenses that remain, including:
