Peter Inzunza's Journey of Faith and Healing

Hi my name is Peter Inzunza and I have been in hospital since January 27th that's 188 days as of Agust 1st. I was told in May that that I only had a few days left to live. Those were the most difficult words to swallow and process of my entire life. I am 51 years old and have a wife and 2 sons that are 24 and 26 years old. Saying goodbye to my wife and sons was the most difficult thing I have ever done. I was surrounded by love from friends and family for weeks following this news. We laughed, we joked, we cried and we shared stories and memories. This show of love boosted my energy and little by little my body got stronger. Many prayers went out from friends and family. I prayed to God letting him know I was ready for whatever he had for me next. I surrendered my life to him but also told him if he wanted to give me a miracle I was ready for that too. It has now been over 2-1/2 months since I was told I was no longer eligible for transplant and 2 months since I was given days to live. God has been good to me and I am grateful for every extra breath I take. This is my testimony of never losing hope and never losing faith.
