Join Me in Sharing God’s Love in Southeast Asia!

I hope this letter finds you well! I’m writing to share something that’s been placed deeply on my heart, and I’d love for you to be part of this incredible journey with me.

As you may know, my greatest passion is helping vulnerable individuals by offering unconditional support and using both my education and lived experience to empower them to lead happier, more fulfilling lives. For nearly a decade, I have been serving my community in Ottawa, but I now feel a deep calling to step beyond my local community and share the love of Jesus through my life and story.

I want to be a blessing to others, a light to the world, and a source of encouragement and hope for those who are most vulnerable. This calling has opened the door to an incredible opportunity that I am excited to share with you!

In May, I will be traveling on a short-term missions trip to Southeast Asia with my mentor from my local church in Ottawa and a small, dedicated team. We will be engaging with unreached communities, including vulnerable children and their families, offering not only practical support but also the love and hope that comes from knowing Christ.

Why This Mission Matters to Me

In May 2023, I became ill with an unknown neurological condition that was difficult to diagnose or treat. During that challenging season, I felt lost... physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Seeking comfort, I started attending Sunday services at a local church, where I was introduced to the power of God’s love and the strength of a caring community.

I didn’t realize at the time how deeply this would change my life. I was met with support, compassion, and a community that rallied around me, and it was through this experience that I began to truly understand what it means to trust God and lean into His love.

My spiritual journey has been transformative, and I’m filled with gratitude for how God has walked alongside me through my healing. Now, I feel called to extend that same love and care to others. I am excited about the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a part of the world where so many have never heard His name.

What We’ll Be Doing in Southeast Asia

During this trip, we will:

- Build meaningful relationships with local communities by listening, learning, and offering encouragement.

- Support local ministries and outreach efforts to serve children and families in need.

- Learn about cross-cultural life and ministry by engaging in language and cultural training.

- Share the gospel and be a light in communities that are unreached and underserved.

The total cost of this missions trip is $5985.00, which covers travel, lodging, meals, ministry expenses, and insurance. I am hoping to meet this goal by the end of April, 2025.
