Dear Friends, Family, and kind supporters,

I want to share the story of my amazing friend who’s been through so much and needs our help now more than ever. In January 2022, she started her IVF journey, filled with dreams of becoming a mom. But things took a tough turn when doctors found cysts that needed surgery. She had the operation in July 2022, and we were all so relieved it went well.

Just as she was ready to continue her journey, she noticed blood in her stool. A colonoscopy in August 2022 revealed polyps, and the biopsy showed stage 3 rectal cancer. Our hearts broke as her life quickly turned into a series of scans, tests, and treatments. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she felt like her world turned upside down. The fear and uncertainty were overwhelming. However, her beliefs have always been a cornerstone in her life, and she continued to pray and trust God’s plan.

The cancer was aggressive, spreading to her sphincter muscles, vagina, and liver. She faced the terrifying possibility of a permanent colostomy and vaginal reconstruction if the treatments didn’t work. Starting in November 2022, she went through eight rounds of aggressive chemotherapy every two weeks, followed by 25 rounds of radiation, ending in May 2023. The treatments were brutal, taking away her chance to have children and sending her into early menopause. Time and financial constraints meant she wasn't even able to freeze her eggs, adding another layer of heartbreak.

Throughout this harrowing journey, her faith has been a constant source of strength. She has remained patient, understanding that everything is in God's timing. She has attended prayer meetings, leaned on her faith community, and found solace in prayer. Her unwavering belief in a higher plan has kept her spirits up even on the toughest days.

In July 2023, she bravely underwent surgery to remove her entire rectum. Thankfully, the treatments seemed to work, and she avoided the permanent colostomy and reconstruction. But the battle didn’t end there. She developed a painful fistula and faced bowel frequency and incontinence, making everyday life incredibly challenging. She was mostly confined to her home, struggling to maintain a semblance of normalcy.
Then, in June 2024, we got more devastating news: the cancer had returned in her vagina and colon. Now, she faces a life-altering surgery to remove her entire colon and sphincter muscles, leading to a permanent colostomy and vaginal reconstruction.
Throughout all of this, she has shown incredible strength and resilience, bolstered by her faith and the prayers of those around her. She is determined to turn her test into a testimony. However, as you can imagine the financial burden has been overwhelming. With the new upcoming treatment plan, both she and her family will have to take countless days off work to support her through treatments and care.

I’m reaching out to ask for your help. Your donation will make a huge difference, covering medical expenses and providing the support she desperately needs. Let’s come together to give her hope and strength in this fight.

Please donate and share her story. Every little bit helps and means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thanks for your support and for caring.
