Join Meri's Battle over CIDP (autoimmune disease)

Hi, my name is Meri Janevska and today I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful fighting spirit.

I have recently been diagnosed with CIDP which is a very rare progressive neurological disease. The disease has progressed and It has completely affected my ability to walk, even stand on my feet. I am currently facing a very tough road ahead as well as significant medical expenses that me and my family cannot handle alone.

I am 44 years old, a dedicated wife and a mom to 2 beautiful girls Lili and Kristina who are 4 and 2 years old. I am a full time day care teacher and I miss it everyday.

My family is my source of strength and positivity, unfortunately our world has been turned upside down for the past few months. This diagnosis came as a shock to all of us and we are now on a challenging journey to fight this illness.

CIDP is an autoimmune disease that is attacking my nervous system and at this time it is affecting my legs to the point of I cannot stand on my own. With that it has a devastating effect on my everyday life and the ability to be around my kids, dress them, make them food or even give them a bath...

The cost of the medical treatment, the procedure it self, medications and therapy is not only very long it is overwhelming financially. Additionally there are numerous other expenses that add to our financial burden.
