I am honored to compete for the title of Miss Black and Gold in the Black and Gold scholarship pageant sponsored by the Alpha Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated at Morehouse College. This pageant is not just about beauty—it celebrates leadership, service, and empowerment, values that define my journey.
As a second-year Psychology major on the Pre-Law track at Spelman College, I am committed to advocacy and service. As a Bonner Scholar, I’ve led initiatives like The Winter Wear Drive for McKinney-Vento students and a mentorship program connecting Spelman and Morehouse students with KIPP Strive Elementary scholars to foster collegiate aspirations. I also serve as an anchor for The Maroon Tiger and contribute to The Spelman Blueprint’s media team, amplifying the voices of the Atlanta University Center. My faith grounds me, and my passion for storytelling shines through my work in acting, including leading roles on Disney and an upcoming Lifetime film.
Through this pageant, I am championing my platform, SHINE which promotes self-advocacy for community impact. I am seeking sponsorship to support my journey and further this mission. Your generosity will not only aid in my participation but also align your brand with empowerment, leadership, and service.
Please note that contestant identities remain confidential until the official reveal, and I kindly ask for your discretion.
Thank you for your support thus far as a part of my village, and I look forward to this next step in my journey.
