Join Nikhea's Journey Through Cancer Treatment

Dear family, friends and anyone who knows me (aka Putt) and my daughter Nikhea Davenport.

Some of you already know, but those of you who don't, Nikhea was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. It is not super aggressive, but it is not slow either. It is not life threatening and is treatable. After the surgery, we will have a better understanding and will be sure to update everyone when we find out.

No one ever expects to get this kind of news and at first, it takes a while to take it in. She has a beautiful, sweet daughter Ember, who is 10 years old. They are trying to work this all out so it does not make things more difficult.

Nikhea has learned that some of her treatments will not be covered by her insurance. She was having a hard time with the idea of asking for help, but being faced with the costs of everything and knowing insurance would not cover it all, she allowed me to step in and help with this gofundme.

Some people have already been asking how they can help; this is one way if you are able. Your contributions will help with the costs of her supplements, possibly some tests that also may not be covered, (Her primary has suggested to use iv therapy and it will not be covered by her insurance.) her fuel going back and forth, skin care items, things that she will need to help her through and following surgery. (We don't know what is following or what the needs are going to be until those things present themselves.)

*Nikhea's surgery date will be May 13, 2024.
