In appreciation for reaching a shop milestone of 20K followers, The Bonnie Braes is launching a giveaway linked to a donation fund for those across Appalachia severely affected by Hurricane Helene.
Helene dumped torrential rains and unleashed devastating floods that pulverized entire towns, destroyed roads, highways, and bridges, and left tens of thousands without homes, power, food, water, means to travel, and in some cases, their lives.
It is important to us to give back to those in need, especially our fellow Americans.
Any and all donations, large or small, will help aid the various charities and organizations we have selected, who are providing on-the-ground or air support and relief to those affected.
To encourage and engage our customer base in this effort, we have decided to put together a Shop Giveaway + Hurricane Helene Relief & Recovery Donation effort.

Each optional donation made through our fundraiser/link will be counted as a single entry into The Bonnie Braes Giveaway.
Please include your full first and last name with your donation submissions. If family or friends wish to make donations as well, they may opt to indicate your (participant) name in the donation notes to count as an additional entry for you.
Any and all donations made through our fundraiser will be distributed across a number of verified relief organizations, actively providing emergency aid, relief, and recovery to VA, NC, TN, SC, GA, and KY.
Some of the organizations we will be allocating donations to from this fund:
1. Mountain Mule Packers (Mountain Mule Packer Ranch):
- This group is providing support, water, food, medicine, to people in completely cut-off, hard to reach areas, that vehicles and aircraft can not, by way of mules. Truly incredible what this group mobilized to do so quickly. Everyday Americans helping Everyday Americans.
2. Aerial Recovery Group:
- A Veteran-led Humanitarian Special Operators who are on the ground now running search-and-rescue, dropping and transporting of supplies to areas impacted.
3. Operation Air Drop:
- The group is focusing operations on North Carolina after it aided Helene victims in Florida. Pilots and volunteers will deliver essential supplies and food to disaster-stricken areas in the mountains.
3. Hope Mill, Inc - Helicopters Dropping Relief
• Pilots are landing in areas of the mountains where road access is still cut off and/or where emergency crews have not yet reached with food and water.
• The funds are being used to purchase water and critical supplies by a business based in the Charlotte region. Helicopters are primarily staging and departing out of Hickory, N.C.
• A group of independent pilots with helicopters have been dropping off donated water, food, and supplies throughout the region for several days.
4. WNC Regional Livestock Center
WNC Regional Livestock Center
• Based in Canton, the livestock center is working to help farmers and animals who were affected by flooding. You can donate toward helping local farmers who need to buy feed for animals. The center also helps supply fencing and other essentials.
5. Any additional Helene Relief verified organizations and fundraisers providing immediate and impactful support and aid, now and in recovery.
