Help Us Save Lives: Support Our Animal Rescue's Mission!
Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization located in Stone Mountain, GA. We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for support.
As a dedicated animal rescue organization, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of countless animals in our community. With kitten season upon us, our resources are stretched thin, and we urgently need your help to continue our life-saving work. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support critical programs that include kitten season care, our community pet food pantry, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and low-cost vet clinics.
Kitten Season Care
Kitten season is both a joyous and challenging time for our rescue. We are inundated with orphaned and abandoned kittens that require immediate care, medical attention, and loving foster homes. The funds we raise will help us provide:
- Medical care and vaccinations for newborn kittens.
- Nutritious food and formula for growing kittens.
- Spaying and neutering to prevent future overpopulation.
- Supplies such as bedding, litter, and toys to ensure a comfortable environment.
Community Pet Food Pantry
Our pet food bank is a lifeline for families struggling to feed their beloved pets. With the rising cost of living, many pet owners are finding it difficult to provide for their furry friends. Our community pet food pantry helps keep pets in their homes and eliminates the trauma faced by both people and pets when a beloved dog or cat has to be surrendered or abandoned because of lack of resources. Your generous donations will allow us to:
- Stock our shelves with quality pet food to ensure no pet goes hungry.
- Provide emergency pet food supplies to families in crisis.
- Expand our outreach to reach more families in need.
TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return)
The TNR program is essential for controlling the community cat population in a humane and effective way. By trapping, neutering, and returning cats to their colonies, we prevent countless unwanted litters and improve the lives of feral cats. Your support will help us:
- Purchase humane traps and equipment.
- Cover the cost of spaying/neutering surgeries.
- Provide post-surgery care and recovery for community cats.
Low-Cost Vet Clinics
Access to affordable veterinary care is crucial for pet owners and their animals. Our low-cost vet clinics offer essential services, including vaccinations, microchipping, and general health check-ups. With your help, we can:
- Subsidize the cost of veterinary services for low-income families.
- Expand our clinic hours and locations to serve more pets in need.
- Ensure every pet receives the medical care they deserve.
How You Can Help
Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on our rescue efforts. Here’s how you can contribute:
- $25 can provide a week’s worth of food for a kitten.
- $100 can cover the cost of a spay/neuter surgery.
- $200 can fund vaccinations for 10 kittens.
- $250 can supply our pet food bank for a week.
- $500 can support a full day of low-cost vet clinic services.
Please consider making a donation today to help us reach our $5,000 goal. Every dollar counts and brings us closer to providing a brighter future for the animals in our care, for beloved pets in struggling families and for those who are waiting for help.
To express our gratitude, we've curated special thank-you gifts for your support:
- $75: Receive an exclusive AARF T-shirt.
- $125: Enjoy an AARF T-shirt and a stylish tote bag.
