Join Overtext: Revolutionize Social Media

We’re proud to introduce the first non-profit social media platform, running on text messages.
Yes, it’s text messages!
You don’t even need an app to use it or share your content.
Just from your text message app, you can join, get updates, easily share, and build your community.
That’s why we call it Overtext—because text messages are still the most effective and reliable way to share anything with the world.
Well, we still have other options if you want a richer experience.
Overtext is different.
First: Ads!
Instead of bombarding you with millions of ads, users see just one short ad per day from one of our sponsors—plus one daily offer via text message.
That’s it!
No ads on your feed or profile. No more unlimited, overwhelming ads or advertiser manipulations.
Second: Our Business Model.
It’s focused on authentic expression and freedom of speech, instead of making profit from your data.
We always protect your data and never monetize it.
There is no algorithm suggesting content to you. Here, you'll see what you follow.
How do you benefit from this new social media?
You can connect with groups and profiles to stay in touch with what matters most to you.
You can create groups and add people you know to build your community.
Also, you can organize and promote your events easily with our new community-building mobile app.
Do you want to be a part of it?
Now is your chance!
During 2025, we’re running our crowdfunding campaign to give users a chance to be part of it—while introducing the most generous revenue-sharing program in history. On Overtext, 50% of profits will go to our founding members and content creators, while the other 50% remains non-profit and is spent on public benefit activities.
Founding members will also receive extensive rights.
Welcome to Overtext and the GoodSpace community. Our mission includes creating an ethical and non-profit AI model, opening co-working and event spaces in Los Angeles and New York City for minorities, establishing a tech/art fund, and providing housing and mental health services to women & underrepresented communities worldwide.
We would like to welcome you and invite you to the future of social media.
Join Overtext, and become an official founding member by making a donation of any amount you wish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is GoodSpace?
GoodSpace Collective is a Social Network and Tech Equity Hub. We create spaces and experiences to connect people from all over the world & give back to the community.
GoodSpace is a non-profit technology collective run by women & underrepresented communities. We are building the first non-profit social media platform, but we are also dedicated to showcasing the creations of female, gender-fluid, and BIPOC artists.
What are our missions? What are we building?
We are building the very first non-profit social media platform, Overtext. Our mission includes creating an ethical and non-profit AI model, opening co-working and event spaces for women & underrepresented artists, establishing a tech/art fund, and providing housing and mental health services to women & underrepresented communities worldwide.
Can I try Overtext?
We are gradually adding users to ensure everyone is real and the platform operates smoothly. While you can join and reserve your username, only invited creator members can create content, but others can still use Overtext to respond to existing posts. If you want to access Overtext's advanced business features, you can upgrade your membership at https://overtext.me/upgrade. Invite codes will be sent monthly to GoFundMe donors.
How can I become a founding member?
During the 2025 fundraising period, any donation amount qualifies you to become a founding member. When the fundraising ends on December 31, 2025, the enrollment period will begin, lasting from January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026. During this time, donors must complete the founding member intention form on the GoodSpace website and provide contact information details. These can be submitted either separately for each donation or as a summary for the total amount. If the intention form is not submitted by the deadline, the contribution will only be considered a donation. Once all submissions are reviewed, GoodSpace will issue ownership certificates on the blockchain by May 30, 2026, reflecting each person’s ownership share.
Can I join the board or management?
Founding members have the right to vote on significant issues at annual meetings, such as choosing the next board members, major operational or structural changes, allocating more than 50% of the year-end budget to specific causes. Founding members can also run for board member positions and actively participate in the management of GoodSpace. When there is an open board role, founding members can nominate candidates, including themselves. There will be three board member roles opening in 2026. Nominations close on September 15, candidates are announced on October 15, and the annual meeting for elections is held on December 15. Board members are elected via electronic voting, with votes weighted based on ownership percentages.
Can I sell or transfer my ownership?
Ownership certificates are issued as NFTs (non-fungible token) on the blockchain. These can be sold on online marketplaces, and once the sale is complete, the certificate can be safely transferred to a new wallet. The new stakeholder must contact GoodSpace for verification and to update contact details.
How can I trust you? Is this guaranteed?
No guarantee of financial returns, and contributions do not represent an investment in the company. Your contributions support the development of legal and financial infrastructure to ensure sustainable operations, enable us to hire year-round staff for the first time in our history, and help us evolve our strategy in collaboration with other movement organizations. By contributing, you become part of our community as a founding member, with opportunities to participate in governance, shape the platform’s future, and potentially receive patronage-based benefits tied to your level of engagement and support.
We have been working on this platform and business model since 2021. We use a public third-party platform for fundraising, with all donations secured by GoFundMe. We will always share our annual financials, tax filings, and statements transparently for both entities.
