On Saturday 6/15, Raelan was taken to the ER for a rash on her belly. Her doctors noticed she was a little pale & her belly was also very bloated and tight. After many blood tests, the said she is anemic & her platelets are low. They then flew her to Norton’s Children’s Hospital for a blood transfusion, where after more blood work, X-rays , and ultrasounds, she was diagnosed B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She starts her chemo treatments on 6/17. They will stay in the hospital for a portion of this time, but after a few weeks, she will get to go home. Once she’s home, she will have to come back to Louisville one day a week for chemo treatments, lasting up to 2 1/2 years.
Raelan’s parents are going to to be missing a lot of work. Bills don’t stop coming unfortunately, and gas isn’t free. We want to raise money to help with any transportation/gas, bills, meals, and anything Rae could need for these trips ❤️
Raelan is a 3 year old wild child. She is so very loved by everyone around her. She’s a pageant queen, animal advocate , passionate Jesus lover, and just all around a wonderful gal. She will beat this!!!
