Where to start with this amazing boy. Rello is an amazing Pittbull Terrier that has gotten the chance to touch so many people. His smile, love, and compassion for your feelings are something I have never seen in a dog before. He is like a person in a dog's body, just out to make your life better!

Saturday, June 15th, Rello did a 180° turn in his health. He was playing too hard as usual up until this point for being 10 years old. He always acted like he was still 5 years old. So when he couldn't catch his breath, couldn't walk with his back legs very well, when you touched him he winced in pain but didn't cry or whine or anything. Well, he couldn't get comfortable laying down and didn't want to eat (which is his favorite) so I knew something was wrong. So I took him to the vet. They deduced without X-Rays or anything invasive like that it was a back injury with an infection attached. Well, almost $500 dollars later and 4 medications and we were up and walking around. Eating and drinking water. After about 24 hours though he was worse than he was on Saturday so we went to the ER at 11pm Sunday, Father's Day.

So after spending close to 4k, we found out that Rello has air behind his lungs. This is causing his lungs to collapse. We did an emergency tap to remove the air and some fluid and blood build up behind and put a chest tube in to help the fluid build up as well as he is in an oxygen chamber to help his breathing. They are telling me it is going to be a costly process but they do have hope because of how he was before and how he is looking, interacting, and not fighting the help that he is receiving.

If anyone could donate anything that would be greatly appreciated. The 30k will be used for his stay in the Emergency vet as well as scans, and treatments, as well as surgery. I want to save the dog that has saved me over and over again. He is my son and so important and loved by so many. I want to be able to fight this fight with him as long as he wants to fight!

UPDATE They are saying until surgery it will be 10k. For the surgery it will be 10-15k at least.
