Join Shawn in Bringing Hope to Tororo, Uganda

Hello! My name is Shawn. I own a painting business in NH called Honest Brothers Painting. Recently, the Lord opened up a door for me to go and serve the community of Tororo in eastern Uganda. I have never been out of the country like this, but I know the Lord has called me to serve and help build up our brothers in a foreign land.

It's amazing to see how blessed we are in America. To even have a home to paint is a "problem" that so many people in the world would beg to have. These brothers of ours almost had their church shut down because they had a 30ft hole in the ground trying to build a latrine without enough supplies to finish the job. It was unsafe conditions.
It took very little support on our end to get them to a position where they could have a working latrine (bathroom) for 30 people in the community.
I am honored to be able to support the needy wherever they are in the world. Every human being is valuable and precious ✨️

Ecclesiastes 7:2 NIV — It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting...the living should take this to heart.

This means the world to me. If we spend our entire lives seeking to feast and to party and celebrate ✨️ then we will turn a blind eye to those in need. That's not something I am willing to do.

I am also not willing to go down to Uganda empty-handed. This community has people without food, clothing, or clean water. This community has children that cannot afford to get an education to make a difference. This community doesn't even have Bibles to continue their spiritual nourishment.

I will be going down Sept 29th to serve and be obedient to what I've been called to. I currently have saved $1,200 of my own money. I have also received about $1,200 from others who felt led to bless these people as well. These funds will not be going to me. I have paid for all my expenses.

The funds I currently have will be used for providing Bibles in the church of Tororo as well as building the foundation of a 32-year-old church building that has recently collapsed.

The funds received through this GoFundMe will go to providing school supplies for needy children as well as providing meat for people who may only eat meat once a year due to extreme poverty.

If we can join together and contribute what is on our hearts to give... Collectively we can make a massive impact for others who have very little. In fact, these people need your help. I am asking you to consider partnering with me in this mission to spread the gospel and show love in action. If you don't believe you have the means... set aside time to think about what you can do to help. The Lord will bless your little. Even if it's a couple of dollars, it will go far. So please do not brush this off. Everyone has something to give. Let it be done out of love and desire and not out of compulsion, for the Lord loves a cheerful giver <3

If you cannot contribute financially, then please pray for me, the community of Tororo, and the work the Lord has in store. I know it doesn't end here. I believe this work will continue and with everyone's support... it will be incredibly impactful and even save the lives of many!

(I will be taking videos and keeping reports on all that has been done on my trip to share with everyone who chooses to support)
It has only just begun! May the Lord bless you all!
