Join Stef's Fight to Save Riley

My name is Stef, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My beloved Fox Face Pomeranian, Riley, who is just a year and a half old, needs urgent life-saving surgery. Riley has been my constant companion, bringing endless joy and love into my life.

Since he was 7months old, I’ve been taking him to the vet to see what was causing this “lights are on and no body’s home” type of behavior. Causing him sometimes to have seizures or drooling a lot and hunched over while pacing. In May of this year I had an ultrasound done and discovered that he was born with a liver that’s smaller than normal. It also has a shunt blocking the blood to go to his liver and clean the blood after he eats which is causing toxins to build up in his body and going to his brain causing the seizures.

When Riley came into my life, I had experienced the loss of two close family members within a short time period. I was broken as a person and Riley really helped me heal and rediscover happiness in a way I didn't know was possible. Riley and I are companions for life, he is with me all day every day.

When I found out about Riley's condition, I was devastated. I have grown to love this animal as a family member. So immediately, I wanted to do what I can to get him the help he needs. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is beyond what I can afford alone.

I’m asking for your help to give Riley the chance to continue living a happy, healthy life.
