Join Stephanie's Fight Against Rare Cancer

Donation protected
Stephanie was diagnosed with Adrenalcortical Carcinoma (ACC). ACC is an extremely rare aggressive cancer that has very little research and with no known cure. Adrenalcortical carcinoma is one in a million cancer, which why we need help with getting the best care for Stephanie. It is considered an orphan cancer, which means the government doesn't fund research for ACC cure. She will be traveling to hospitals that have the latest research and treatments available. All we know now it that she has a 9cm mass about the size of a grapefruit on her left adrenal gland and multiple nodules in her right lung with the biggest being 1.8cm about the size of a grape. Stephanie is one of the most selfless, pure individuals that I have ever met. She is a mother, wife, sister, friend, and so much more and we need her here with us. We need all the support we can get. We appreciate everyone that is helping, this will cover treatment, travel, bills, and accommodations when needed. Danny, her husband will be by her side and missing work to make sure she is not alone. They do not come any better than Stephanie, she truly is a one of a kind. Thank you in advance, from the bottom of our hearts. When talking with the oncologist she gave us the life expectancy of 3-5 years. We aim to beat this cancer!

ALMOST ONE YEAR UPDATE:

We underwent 9 rounds of aggressive chemo treatments of etoposide, carboplatin and doxorubicin. 8 rounds of Keytruda, immunotherapy. 10 rounds of targeted radiation followed by a 10 day stay in the hospital due to being internally burnt causing significant damage to her esophagus and couldn't eat for 22 days losing 20 pounds causing Refeeding syndrome. All of that without any promising results, everything has grown.... As of right now we are undergoing a clinical trial, where they inject a virus into the tumors that is suppose to make your body recognize the tumors as foreign (it should not be there) and boost her immune system to fight it. She has received 2 injections so far and is scheduled for another next week here in Ann Arbor. They also will reintroduce the Keytruda immunotherapy to aid the RP2 virus injection at some point. Stephanie is the 2nd person to do this clinical trial at the University of Michigan. We are hopeful that this trial will work as we are waiting a CT Scan. The first patient had success in shrinking and controlling her growth of her tumors.

We have consulted with Dr. Block in Chicago as he practices both natural and western medicines. Dr. Block has integrative methods to administer the treatments and has produced positive results. Unfortunately Dr. Blocks treatments aren't covered by our insurance.

It is very hard for me to ask for help, but we have exhausted every avenue and I am determined to do everything possible to help sustain my wife's life. Our story isn't over. Please consider contributing to our journey with Adrenalcortical Carcinoma.

We would like to give our deepest gratitude and thank each and every one of you for your continued love and support through this battle.
WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN!!! NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!!!!!
Please continue to pray for Stephanie and our family.
