Join Susan in Bawlsy's Rescue Mission

Hi my name is Susan and I’m fundraising for a stray cat I’ve named Bawlsy! I love animals and several years ago began fostering cats and kittens for a small rescue. I have a room in my home dedicated for just that purpose and over the years I’ve fostered over 75 cats and kittens and helped find them their furrever home. Sometimes tho an animal finds its way to me all on its own and I try and help it the best I can from my own savings. Enter Bawlsy!! He is a young male cat that started hanging around my house over the winter. He would come for a few days and then leave. But he would always return. He stares in my front door and cries! I can’t bring him inside as I have four cats of my own but my heart went out to him. This spring I started feeding him regularly. I realized he was not neutered, had fleas and ticks and just looked a bit rough. I advertised on social media and local sites to find his owner. No response! I then attached a note to a collar and wrestled it on him with my name and number and asked for his owner to please call me. No response! So a few weeks ago I trapped him and took him to my vet!

Bawlsy was neutered, received testing for cat diseases (he is negative), rabies vaccinated and treated for fleas and ticks and worms. The expenses for this came out of my own pocket. I brought him home and hoped to find him a new owner. He is staying on my front porch and I feed and care for him. However, we also discovered he has bad teeth and an oral abscess!

Bawlsy now needs a dental exam, oral radiographs, a cleaning, a few teeth pulled including a large canine, and treatment for the ulcer. All told this will be about $2,000 more dollars!

Please help me to get him the medical care he needs so he can get a clean bill of health and I can then find him his furrever home! He is sweet, soooo soft and gentle. He has a hard time eating dry food and shakes his head a lot due to the discomfort in his mouth. He needs help as soon as possible to avoid infection. That could be quite dangerous.
