Hello and many blessings!!

First, I want to thank you all for your prayers for Hope and for her family!

As most of you know, Hope is a sweet, kind, athletic, and energetic young lady.

On December 12th, Hope woke up in the morning and noticed pain and swelling in her left knee. On December 18th, after the pain and swelling persisted, Hope went to her pediatrician's office and had bloodwork drawn and x-rays taken. On the 19th, she was referred to an orthopedic specialist where she had an MRI of her knee. On December 20th, Hope was recommended to have a biopsy on her knee. On December 22nd, Hope's right knee started to hurt in addition to her left knee. And on December 23rd, more lab work was drawn and she was admitted to Children's Hospital for monitoring and additional testing. At this time, a full-body MRI was done noting "masses" throughout her body. On Christmas Eve, she had a bone biopsy and a bone marrow biopsy and was able to go home and celebrate Christmas with her family.

On December 26th, just 14 days after noticing symptoms, Hope was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) type B.

On December 27th, Hope had her port placed and will immediately receive her first round of chemotherapy.

Please pray for Hope and for her family.

In addition to prayers, we would like to help the Pinkelman family with the possible financial burden of upcoming medical bills. Sarah has also been dealing with health struggles of her own, including a hip replacement in December and an upcoming hip replacement in May. Over the next couple of years, Travis and Sarah will have to make sacrifices to care for Hope, including adjusting their work life and taking off work for procedures and appointments. While we know Travis and Sarah would never ask for a single penny, removing financial stress is just one way to help them through this difficult time. Thank you for your willingness to help Hope and her family as she recovers. Every donation helps.
