Hello Everyone – my name is Keith Bellamy and I’m fundraising to help Jael Garcia and his family during what will be a long battle with Leukemia. Jael is the 12-year-old son of my long-time friend and fellow baseball player Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez

Jael was diagnosed with ALL, (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) a rare cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells, which has required a quick and aggressive treatment through chemotherapy. Jael has been in and out of the hospital since being diagnosed and will continue to receive more chemotherapy treatments in the coming months.

As Jael and his family embarks on what will be a long and intense journey, we’d like to raise funds to help provide some financial support during this extremely challenging time. Medical bills and ongoing treatments along with other expenses associated with the hospital visits and stays have put an incredible strain on finances. In addition to these expenses, Juan Carlos also faces a loss of income as he helps care for and support Jael while he is receiving treatments and recovering. We hope that raising enough funds will help to foster some sense of normalcy and relief from the stresses of fighting this disease.
