Terrence's Story:

Terrence Blake II is a bright 15-year-old full of life and has a strong passion for God! He's a dedicated player on the Conway High School soccer team, a drummer in the school band, and a talented pianist. Terrence loves being around his friends. His infectious laugh and unwavering faith are what make him shine.

Facing a Challenge:

In December 2023, Terrence began experiencing dizziness. Initially, it seemed like dehydration, but the symptoms worsened. In January 2024, he lost feeling in his left leg and had difficulty speaking. A trip to the ER found nothing conclusive, but an MRI revealed inflammation in his cerebellum, affecting his speech, movement, and coordination.

Fighting for Recovery:

Diagnosed with post-viral encephalitis, Terrence underwent steroid treatment. While initial signs were positive, his condition worsened. He went through therapy and multiple tests, but doctors couldn't explain the persistent inflammation.

A recent biopsy confirmed High-Grade Glioma Brain Cancer. Terrence will begin daily radiation and chemotherapy for 6-12 weeks.
