Support the 6th Everyday is Black History event

Tax deductible
June 23rd from 12:00 to 7:00 pm at Jasper P Driver Plaza we rally together for an empowering event: Everyday is Black History - Honoring the unsung fathers. The Everyday is Black History series is dedicated to uplifting the Black community of Oakland and Berkeley. Despite facing systematic oppression and the challenges of gentrification, we aim to provide cultural enrichment and essential resources to foster a flourishing community.
This year, our focus is on debunking misconceptions surrounding Black fatherhood. In the face of misguided portrayals in certain narratives, we refuse to allow Black fathers to be unfairly demonized. On June 23rd, we will come together to honor and celebrate the vital role of Black fathers in all their diversity.
Expect an inspiring lineup of entertainers, thought-provoking speakers, children activities and a variety of vendors. Additionally, we'll have numerous resources available to support Black fathers and their families on their journey to nurturing happy, successful children -from Health and Mental Health resources, Prison reform initiatives to Job preparedness and many more.
Help us bring to life this much needed event that strengthens and brings positivity to the North Oakland community! Your donation helps us cover production expenses, insurance costs, free food for anyone who needs it.
