McKenna's Journey Fighting Cancer

"Cancer....? At 32? "

When we learned the results of the biopsy we were in disbelief. These last four years have already been a medical roller coaster and now this journey was starting. Our sweet 6-month-old was conceived through in-vitro fertilization after six failed attempts through IUI. Now, after receiving over two hundred shots, multiple surgeries and 37 weeks of being pregnant, McKenna will be receiving chemotherapy every week for at least the next 8 months. From there, the Doctors have said she will have surgery to remove the mass, and should expect to need radiation treatment, and more immunotherapy through at least March of 2025.

As the bills have started to come in we are realizing how much we must lean on God in every area of our life and trust He will provide. We are asking for this help so that McKenna can receive the treatment she needs while still letting our daughter have the life she deserves in these early years. McKenna doesn’t want her treatment to stop Vivienne from seeing the world.
