Join the Fight: Help Julie Bagley Beat Cancer

It breaks my heart to have to post this about one of my best friends, Julie Bagley.

Julie is a fun loving, outgoing, “glass is half full type of person “. She’s the type of person you could call anytime and would be there for you without question. Even in the toughest of times you will find her trying to make someone else feel better, even when she's not. She needs our support now more than ever. As a single mother of 4, she worked 2 jobs, and still found the time to volunteer for her children's athletic and school events. While balancing all of these things in life, she still managed to be at every event for her children and friends. We often wonder if she ever sleeps.

On Aug 25th her world was turned upside down with a trip to the ER regarding a stomach ache. That's when she would find out that she had a large tumor growth in her small intestine. Emergency surgery was performed. This week she was diagnosed with an aggressive form lymphoma - the next steps include a blood transfusion, chemotherapy, roughly (6/8 sessions), with the possibility of having to have a bone marrow transplant. This is going to be a long process, that is going to be very draining on her physically. Please help Julie in her year long fight to recovery.

We will be setting up a site where you will be able to follow her journey. We are working on setting up a site through Caring Bridge where we will be updating everyone on Julie's progress.
