Help to Free American Hostage Omer Neutra

Omer Neutra was kidnapped and taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on October 7th along with over 200 others. An American citizen born in NYC, Omer grew up in Plainview, NY, on Long Island. Omer is loved and adored by so many. He is funny, kind and a born leader. Omer is an avid sports fan and a NY Knicks fanatic. He loves traveling, hiking and playing sports and was captain of 3 teams in high school. Omer is a true lover of both Israel and the United States. After graduating high school, Omer deferred his studies at the University of Binghamton to spend a gap year in Israel, where he has a large family.

During his gap year, Omer selflessly decided to postpone college again so that he could serve and protect the State of the Jewish People and enlisted in the Israel Defense Force (IDF).

In a surprise attack on Oct. 7th, Hamas terrorists breached the Gaza border and unleashed a barbaric assault on peaceful communities, the Nova music festival and military outposts. Stationed to protect the border, Omer and his tank unit were one of the first responders trying to thwart the terror attack. Hamas terrorists murdered over 1200 people (including 45 Americans) and took over 240 hostages including Omer. 101 hostages are still being held captive in Gaza.

It’s been almost a year now, since Omer’s parents, Orna and Ronen Neutra have last heard from their beloved son, on a phone call on October 6th. Ever since then, they have been working tirelessly to promote Omer’s cause and that of the other 100 hostages. They have met with top level political, diplomatic, humanitarian, interfaith, community, media and celebrity leaders – including President Biden, VP Harris and the National Security Agency multiple times. They spoke at the Republican National Convention and attended the DNC. This is a humanitarian crisis and is not political. They are leaving no stone unturned.

This situation is unimaginable for any human being or parent to endure. Since October 7th, the family has incurred significant costs for the Bring Omer Home campaign and are now raising funds to help support the following urgent activities going forward:

• Liaise and organize with other families who have relatives held hostage in Gaza

• Focus on targeted diplomatic outreach with key countries and individuals involved in the hostage release effort

• Conduct International media outreach and public education campaigns

• Strengthen public awareness among Jewish communities and concerned freedom-loving people around the world

• Support the pressing needs of the family
