Honoring the memory of Nicole Kundrat with love and support.

Back in February 2024, Nicole Kundrat, 47, was diagnosed with a rare type of lymphoma called Cutaneous Gamma Delta T-Cell Lymphoma and began treatment in April. After several complications and setbacks, Nicole lost her battle with cancer. She fought fiercely and bravely, her loss is an absolute tragedy.

To know Nicole was to know the most incredible wife, loving mom, daughter, sister, aunt (Teti), Kuma, sweetest friend, kindest soul, and passionate educator. She always had her door open, a chair at her table, and hospitality abound for anyone who wanted to visit. Nicole’s love for entertaining was always enhanced by her laugh and smile. As a mother of 4 very active children, the oldest of which is starting college this fall, Nicole energetically took on and loved the roles of dance mom, hockey mom, baseball mom, and softball mom. Even with minimal time for herself, Nicole was an active member of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church as well as the Circle of Serbian Sisters Knjeginja Zorka. Nicole’s commitment to education extended to Heritage Grove Middle School where she was a valued educator, mentor, leader, and friend to all the “kiddos” that she crossed paths with. The lives of all those that she encountered will forever be brighter having known her. Our family will continue to live through her.
