Join Us in Aiding Rick's Road to Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We come to you with heavy hearts to share the story of Rick Curtis, a beloved family man and community hero who is facing a significant health crisis. Rick is currently battling severe illness and is in urgent need of a heart transplant, along with potential transplants for other organs. He will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future, unable to work and provide for his family.

Rick has dedicated his life to serving others. He has been a devoted Pop Warner football coach in South Florida, inspiring young athletes with his passion and commitment. A proud alumnus of Olivet College in Michigan, Rick has also made a mark in the community as a firefighter for 21 years across both Michigan and Florida. His service extends to the military as an Army Reservist and as a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

Rick is a loving husband to his incredible wife, April, who is doing everything she can to support him during this difficult time. Together, they have raised three wonderful children who reflect their dedication and hard work. Their eldest daughter is a dietitian, their youngest son is a professional CFL football player, and their eldest son proudly serves as an officer in the Army.

As Rick faces this daunting journey, the financial burden of medical expenses, hospital stays, and lost wages is overwhelming. April needs our support to help cover these costs and to provide for their family during this challenging time.

We humbly ask for your generosity, whether it be through donations, sharing this campaign, or sending thoughts and prayers their way. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in Rick’s fight for life and will help bring peace of mind to April and their children.

Thank you for standing by the Curtis family in their time of need. Your kindness and support mean the world to them.

With heartfelt gratitude,
April Curtis and Family
