Please Join us to bring aid to Western North Carolina!

Hello fellow Americans!

I am a mother of four who is urgently trying to assist my brother. He is a Father of four, who used to live with his wife and family in Weaverville, NC three years ago and desperately wants to assist helping his friends and their loved ones. He is leaving his home in Florida to drive up supplies and be of assistance to the people in need in Western North Carolina. He will be meeting up with our beloved Church friends and working with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church located in Asheville to provide supplies and immediate assistance. Additionally, he will be focusing on providing supplies and assistance to the smaller mountain towns of Western North Carolina that aren't receiving much assistance such as: Weaverville, Mars Hill, Burnsville, Spruce Pine and Bakersville.

Many of you may have heard of the catastrophe that Hurricane Helene has brought upon our fellow Americans, but the magnitude of this devastation is not being broadcasted as it should be, on the news stations and social media Platforms. These small mountain towns have never experienced a hurricane or a storm of this strength in history and would have had no way to prepare for this destruction.

People and children were fighting to save their lives and still are! The nightmare that these people have faced is unfathomable! Floods bursting through windows of homes causing people and children to fall into waters being separated by strong current and children screaming for their parents. Landslides causing homes, cars, property, people and animals to fall down mountains. Roads and land being torn up by floods and tornados. Roads are completely destroyed, where people can't travel out of their homes to safer areas to gather supplies. Many families are trapped in their homes or in unsafe areas, without consistent Wi-Fi signal/service and are many miles into the mountains with no safe way of getting down.

Many people have been without supplies for days and running out of supplies! Many families have lost their entire home filled with everyday essentials to keep them safe and alive. Supplies such as water, food, socks, warm clothes, shoes, baby formula, baby diapers, baby wipes, hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap), sanitation products: disinfecting wipes, cleaning disinfectant products, fuel, heavy work gloves, tools and equipment to clean debris and clear roads of trees, generators. People need rescuing and fast! These people are not receiving enough rescuing and assistance fast enough and we the American people need to help our people! If it was us or our family, we would hope that the American people of this country would come to our rescue. These people are begging for physical assistance and supplies not money. More than anything they are pleading for people to assist with rescues, delivering supplies and help cleaning up the debris or fixing damage.

We understand that most people cant take off work to join us with physical assistance. We have the availibilty that most of you dont. We are just three people and know that more physical helping hands is needed but we also don't have much funds to deliver the assistance that we want to deliver. That is where we need as many of our American people, our good-hearted Christians to find it in their hearts to donate what they can for us to fulfil this mission. Together lets unite to do the Lords work! God wants nothing more than for us to lock arms and help each other during times of crisis. We don't have much time for there are families dying daily from dehydration and unsafe conditions.

I've rented a van and Iam driving to Western North Carolina tomorrow. Currently, we are trying to buy all necessary supplies to transport to help people in need and give some relief. My Brother will be cutting tree's down, cleaning debris, fixing damages and distributing these needed supplies to several donation spots and Churches in these towns. My Brother is very handy and plans to help as many people with physical labor as possible. We have limited funds, and we are using everything we have but its currently not enough. We need more chainsaws, generators, rubber boots, masks and essentials to pass out to people. I am hoping to raise $ 25,000 but whatever I can raise is so appreciated and will be going directly to get these supplies and deliver them to these people. Any donation helps big or small!
