Chastidy here, and I recently started a non profit organization called A Better You Foundation to benefit the youth.

We believe that every young person deserves to feel confident and cared for, regardless of their circumstances. That's why we're launching a transformative initiative to provide free hairstyles and haircuts to youth in foster homes, shelters, battling illnesses, and families facing financial hardships.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple yet profound: to uplift the spirits of young individuals by offering them quality hair services that promote self-esteem and well-being. We recognize the transformative power of a good hairstyle—it's not just about looking good, but feeling good too.

The Need

Many youth facing adversity lack access to basic grooming services due to financial constraints or unstable living situations. By offering free hairstyles, supplies, & basic workshops we aim to alleviate this burden and provide a moment of joy amidst challenging times.

What We'll Do

With your generous support, we'll be able to:

Purchase Supplies: Your donations will enable us to acquire essential supplies such as hair products, tools, and equipment needed to provide professional hairstyling services.

Offer Simple Lessons: We're not just providing a haircut; we're empowering youth with knowledge. Our team will offer simple lessons on basic hair care and styling techniques, equipping them with skills they can use for a lifetime.

Provide Hair Upkeep Supplies: We understand that maintaining a hairstyle can be challenging, especially for those facing financial difficulties. That's why we'll send our clients home with hair upkeep supplies, ensuring they can maintain their look until the next pop up.

Going Mobile

But we won't stop there. Our vision extends beyond local communities—we want to reach youth in need across multiple states. That's why we're launching a mobile initiative, taking our services on the road to reach those who need it most. By being mobile, we can bridge the gap and bring hope directly to where it's needed.
