‎‏Dear friends,

‎‏My name is Ghazal Naseer, from palestine north-Gaza, I am 16 years old and this is my story.
Before the war , as a girl in my age, I was striving to achieve my goals and ambitions. One of my goals was to get a high level in English, know about different cultures and talk to people from all over the world to have the chance to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause, I began to achieve this with the Hands Up Project, which has been a primary supporter of our Palestinian issue, and give us their support and assistance, I participated in several plays with HUP, One of these plays won first place in Palestine, and all the plays we presented carry a story, a purpose, and emotions, deeply conveying that the children of Palestine love life!
and we do many events and activities before the war began, preventing me from achieving my goals and destroying my life.

‎‏On a dark morning, the sound of explosions shattered the calm in northern Gaza. In the midst of chaos, with blasts echoing around us, two of my siblings and I were trying to escape a brutal reality.
‎‏Samar (26 years )and my little Mohammed, who is just five years old. The war separated us from our parents. We were forced to evacuate to the south while they were still in the north.
‎‏We trudged through streets strewn with rubble, searching desperately for shelter. Mohammed held my hand tightly as if I were his only hope. Meanwhile, my older sister Samar tried to soothe him . She were talking with him about fun, joyful games and stories that made him forgot the reality of displacement and like we go for a walk or a trip somewhere and we'll come back as soon as it's over.

‎‏During our terrifying journey, we came across the Fayez family, who became a glimmer of hope amid the darkness. Like us, they had been displaced from northern Gaza.

The Al-Kafarna family consists of a father, Fayez, a mother, Amal, and three children: Zain Al-Din (7 years old), Mohammed (4 years old), and their daughter Alma (not yet a year and a half old).

They shared us the same pain as homelessness and the same painful reality. With the difference that we were half a family while they were a whole family. They offered us help in sharing shelter and the route of displacement. That moment epitomized solidarity and hope. So, ‎‏We didn’t hesitate to walk with them

‎‏We reached the south out in the open . No homes , no shelters and no safety. Fayez assembled worn fabrics to create a makeshift tent.

‎‏This tent does not protect from the heat nor the cold. Not to mention the abundance of insects and flies.
‎‏Always and ever the tent is a symbol of humiliation, loss , homelessness and non-life.

‎‏We made countless attempts to reunite with the rest of my family, but all efforts failed due to the restrictions on movement between northern and southern Gaza imposed by the occupation.
‎‏Thus, Fayez became the sole breadwinner for both families. And as a guardian for us in the absence of our parents.

‎‏One day, as usual, Fayez went to the market to buy some food. At that moment, the Israeli occupation planes launched missiles over people's heads, and Fayez was injured by shrapnel in his head and was admitted to the operating room.

Since then, he has been receiving treatment, and he is still suffering greatly from this injury until now.
On the other hand, My new family faces serious challenges affecting our daily lives. We are increasingly suffering from severe shortages of food, clean water,
clothing, cleaning materials and also medicine.

My story is not just a story of displacement. It is a tale of hope and resilience, filled with pain and struggle, and the relentless pursuit of survival, unites two displaced families under one roof, as we strive to overcome our sorrows together, bonded in both hardship and hope, believing that one day, a brighter dawn will arrive.

‎‏Meeting our basic needs, like food and shelter, is not merely assistance; it is crucial for our survival and dignity.

‎‏
‎‏After more than a year of genocide , our current circumstances leave us in urgent need of support, as each passing moment deepens our suffering.

‎‏Therefore, I humbly ask you to consider helping us and sharing our story with your friends and family to raise awareness and encourage them to contribute.
‎‏ Your donation, no matter how modest, will make a meaningful difference in our lives and bring hope back into our hearts during these tiring times.

‎‏Thank you for your kindness and support. ❤️❤️
