Join Us in Providing Hope for Stray Animals in Jordan

I am raising funds for the registered non-profit organization Tabanni, which was established in Jordan in 2021. Tabanni is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing medical care for animals in need across Jordan. The organization is entirely volunteer-based. Tabanni has helped 466 animals through direct rescue, TNR programs, adoption facilitations in Jordan and to the United States, and local awareness campaigns to change public perception of dogs and cats in Jordan.

Tabanni currently provides direct care to:

• 16 dogs, including 5 with special needs

• 27 cats, including 2 with special needs

• Food and medical care to the Qastal stray dog pack

• Complete treatment, neutering, and vaccination of an average of 8 stray animals monthly (cats and dogs)

Tabanni relies on donations to carry out their work. In order to continue providing care for as many cats and dogs as possible in Jordan, they are seeking funding to help cover their monthly expenses.

The average monthly cost of providing this care is:

• 7,500 Jordanian Dinars/10,600 USD for direct care (medical expenses, boarding, food, and purchase of equipment)

• 1,300 JOD/1,850 USD (administrative and logistical expenses associated with transportation)

Tabanni's work addresses the immediate welfare of animals while also contributing to environmental conservation. By managing stray populations through humane methods like TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) (including anti-parasitic medication and vaccination), Tabanni helps reduce the spread of diseases and helps promote healthier environments. This supports biodiversity and fosters sustainable coexistence between humans and animals.

Donating to Tabanni will not only help them cover their ongoing costs, but will also enable them to expand their operations, allowing them to reach more animals, as well as replace their worn-out transport van for one that is more cost-effective and sustainable. Additionally, it will allow Tabanni to continue their efforts to establish more TNR communities across Jordan.
